About Judith Spence, D.N.M.@, Ac., C.H.
Judith Spence, Doctorate of Natural Medicine, D.N.M@, Ac., NAET Advanced II Practitioner, Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) practitioner has been in the medical field for over 30 years. She has close to 20 years of networking with complementary medicine communities. She has lectured at local hospitals, institutions such as the department of National Defence, Health Canada, community colleges, school boards and community groups and agencies about Environmental Illness which includes Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, porphyria, allergy, asthma and the Gulf War Syndrome. As C.E.O. of the Environmental Illness Society of Canada, she has been instrumental in catapulting Environmental Illness onto the agenda of the federal government.
Judith is well respected by the conventional medical and alternative medicine communities in Ottawa and she receives referrals from physicians and alternative medical practitioners from as far away as British Columbia and New Brunswick. In 1997, Judy was recognised as a Woman of Distinction by the greater Ottawa community for her work in bringing about a greater awareness of and support for Canadians with Environmental Illnesses. She has been commended by the federal Minister of Health, the Honourable Allan Rock, by Minister of Defence, the Honourable Art Eggleton, Deputy Prime Minister Herb Gray, Liberal WHIP Marlene Catterall, M.P. Mac Harb, by her colleagues and, by sick and distressed Canadians who have benefited from her work of raising awareness about prevention and accommodation.
